Kenshiro
Cyr wheel, acrobatics

Born in 1996, Kenshiro was unfamiliar to the circus world through college. But after a sudden encounter with an online video, he fell in love with the art of the Cyr wheel and began practicing immediately. Six months later, he made his debut as a performer, and has now grown to become a known face for Cyr wheel performances in Japan - performing at events throughout the entire country. Recently, he was selected as one of 15 "Next Artist" performers by renowned performance director Amon Miyamoto, and is now active on several fronts, despite his age and only having practiced Cyr wheel for three years. The extraordinary world view of his performance stems from the incorporation of acrobatics into his "danceable" Cyr wheel style that values a coexistence with sound.
