This fall, Awaji Art Circus presents a brand-new production: “Whispers of a Vanished Battlefield～Memories of the Heike～” — a powerful performance set on the beautiful stage of Awaji Island.

What is “Genkan Art Circus”?

“Genkan Art Circus” is a heartfelt project where our team members personally visit homes, shops, or offices across Awaji Island to deliver your tickets by hand.

Eligible participants are those who purchase 5 or more tickets (any combination of ticket types—general, student, or preschool is welcome).

Your visitors will be Elena Bzhola and Elena Gradkovskaya, members of the Awaji Art Circus organizing team.
Along with your tickets, they’ll bring stories, insights into this year’s show, and their personal passion for the production—shared right at your doorstep.

The Meaning Behind This Project

The name "Genkan Art Circus" (玄関アートサーカス) holds deep meaning—representing gratitude, reunion, and connection.

To everyone who loves circus and art, and to all the wonderful people of Awaji who continue to support us— this is more than just a ticket delivery. It’s a way for us to say thank you in person.

“Which artists are coming this year?”
“What’s the story like this time?”
Even a simple exchange like this becomes a part of the art circus experience.

There’s a unique kind of “stage” at the front door—one that touches the heart in a way no theater can.
